I've lost count of how many times our kitchen drain clogged and how many times we invited a plumber over for same issue. We been having this same problem for forever. It's an old house (over 100 yrs) The plumber from Portland Plumbing Plus spent some time to trace the drain pipes, then found that our kitchen sink has been draining into the sump pump in our basement. That's the problem. We called Portland  Plumbing Plus to repair a clogged kitchen sink and it turned out to be a miracle. Who would have thought that the problem we been having for years is as a result of wrong plumbing. All we needed was a repipe. P3 installed the lines properly and the clogging problem disappeared. We used to call a plumber frequently for clog issues but not anymore. We just celebrated 9 months of no clog. Wow! this is like a miracle!
