I had my toilet clogging constantly and couldn't clear it with a regular plunger and a toilet auger. Being a fairly good handy guy, I turned to the internet for more information for a fix. Found Portland Plumbing Plus company online and read many of their knowledgeable resources on plumbing problems and fixes. I ended up writing in my question because I could not still fix my toilet with a toilet auger and sewer water was starting to come into my house through the shower drain. It's unbelievable but true that a plumbing company would respond to my Do-It-Yourself question in such a timely manner as Portland Plumbing Plus did. The plumber who answered my question told me exactly what to do and where to go outside of my house to determine if the problem was from a backed up sewer line. His directions were accurate, almost like he was there at my house. I tried the test the plumber suggested which was in the following order- "go outside to your sewer clean-out and open the cap, then have someone flush your toilet while you observe the sewer clean-out. If water runs through, then sewer line is good, but if you see standing water then sewer line is backing up" So I had my wife flush toilet from a different bathroom and the drain outside had standing water. I knew then that my sewer line was backing up. After the problem was determined, this plumber didn't sell me any service, he only suggested I find a local plumber to fix the problem. I was like WOW!!! My dealing with this company made me feel like I was on a different planet, really, who goes out of their way to help strangers selflessly in this day and time? Well, I am in Portland, they are in Portland, why would I look for another local plumber. I had Portland Plumbing Plus come out the next day to fix the problem. My wife and I are highly impressed, we can't stop recommending them.  Please keep up the good work Portland Plumbing Plus
