This company is very professional and honest in their water leak survey. The water bill at our business started increasing beginning of this year and by June our water bill had doubled. We got the leak detection survey done by another company who told us that the water pipe running across our parking lot was broken and needed to be dug up and repaired. We called Portland Plumbing Plus to dig up and repair the water pipe, Portland Plumbing Plus did a second water leak survey and found that we did not have a leak in the pipe outside. After further survey of the building inside and out, they found that the problem was not a broken pipe but two of our toilets were not working right and dumping water down continuously without anyone using the toilets. Their plumbers fixed the problems in our toilets and advised us to call the office of Portland water bureau to report the leak has been fixed. Our water bill has returned close to normal and we saved thousands which would have been spent if they had dug up our parking lot to repair a pipe which was not even broken. We owe a big thank you to Portland Plumbing Plus for their honest and thorough survey. Going forward we will call you exclusively for all our plumbing needs

We purchased our gas stove from Home Depot and needed a gas company to install the gas line. Portland Plumbing Plus was referred to us. They were very quick to make next day appt. They called us to let us know the plumber was on his way. He was respectful and very friendly to our dog. To Portland Plumbing Plus: I just wanted to tell you that Scotty did one hell of a job today at my home. He diagnosed my water leak within minutes and fixed what I thought would be a costly plumbing job and finished the water leak at the shut off value and replaced an outdoor faucet back deck that has not worked for awhile. He works fast and is very efficient in preparing the repair. I am in sales and I want to tell you he was honest, very knowledgeable and worked hard to fix my issue. We had water dripping through a first floor ceiling light fixture located underneath a second floor bathroom. Our home warranty service's plumber was unable to come out for another 24 hours. We contacted Portland Plumbing Plus LLC and they sent Scotty. Scotty was able to identify where the leak was with very little removal of the ceiling. Just as he was examining the junction where the leak was, the joint came apart. He repaired that junction and tactfully identified a potential future issue. We are so thankful for this information so that repairs can be done now and future leaks avoided. Thanks Scotty for your excellent work and professionalism. One of those lousy moments in life -- the toilet backed up, the man of the house is away for two days and -- I'm a pretty independent woman, but I can't do this without help! 7 PM on a Friday night - who am I to call? I found Portland Plumbing Plus on line and gave them a call.

Ok, this plumber here really blew me away. When our water heater broke we called NW Natural gas company. NW Natural wrote a report and suggested we hire water heater service. The first service plumber we called couldn't figure it out but wanted to sell us a new water heater. My answer was no, this water heater is only 3 years old. Two days without hot water, I took my frustration to work and my coworker raved about Portland Plumbing Plus so I gave them a call. The customer service clerk was really nice and helpful but I needed to talk to the plumber, so she put Bob on the phone. Once I had Bob on the phone, I knew I have found the right plumber. Bob asked me to read the report from NW Natural gas and he could tell on the phone that my water heater is American pro line water heater brand and he was right, I was blown away that he could tell my water heater brand and model without looking at it. To make the long story short, I got their same day appointment which was also cool and our water heater was up and running within 30mins from when the plumber got here. Portland Plumbing Plus is now our newest best friend and plumber

The rain caused storm drain to clog at our office and it started to flood the entire parking area. The rain continued after we closed and the office would have been flooded and properties damaged if I didn't stay back to get help. I  called a different plumbing company who came and snaked the storm drain but snaking didn't help , he called for a backup from his office and they sent another plumber with another hydro machine which still didn't work.
I called Portland Plumbing Plus and their plumber came out almost immediately and had the storm drain opened within 20 mins by snaking it with an industrial machine which looked more like the machine the other plumber first used without success. You can tell that this guy from Portland Plumbing Plus has some special skills with his machine, the rhythm and the way in which he tweaked the cable made the whole difference. He is without doubt the storm drain pro!

The plumber showed up within an hour of my call! I was amazed at how quickly he put new parts in the toilet tank and was able to fix my leaking shutoff valve. He went off to get some tubing that was needed, but found no one open, so he returned to finish up. He got everything working well. He's very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. While I don't wish more plumbing problems, I will definitely call on Portland Plumbing Plus when they occur. Great service at a reasonable price...doesn't get better than that!

Portland Plumbing Plus restored our faith in plumbers. We hadn't had much luck with plumbers until we recently used the services of this company. We needed a bath tub and shower set put in the house we own in Vancouver, a tenant was moving in on Sunday and we needed the work done on Friday. Portland Plumbing Plus came out on our first call, finished the work quickly and price was way below what we had anticipated. And they completed the work satisfactorily without us being there. I had a great experience using PPP for my recent plumbing problem. The toilet clogged and stopped flushing on the Saturday I had friends coming over and Portland Plumbing Plus sent a plumber that came out almost immediately. I filled out the job order on their website and received approval within 5 minutes, within 30 minutes the plumber called and  said he was on his way. The problem was taken care of before my guests arrived, altogether within one hour from the time I ordered service to the time my toilet was unclogged. The plumber was so friendly and courteous, and my toilet now flushes better than I could remember.

My elderly, blind uncle lives in S.E. Portland. His bathtub drain was clogged, so I called a couple of places and arranged for a different plumber to come out two days before my visit from my home in California. The estimate was between $175-$275. I then found Portland Plumbing Plus online and asked for their estimate. What I nice surprise when they said they would unclog it for free! Bob, the founder, called first, then came right out on the day of my visit and fixed the bathtub drain in a jiffy. Bob of course was very professional throughout. It couldn't have been any easier. My brother has been without a sewer connection to his trailer for months and facing possible eviction. Bob responded quickly to our request for free service, came the next morning to connect my brother's trailer to the park sewer system -- all cheerfully and for free. He is a rare, good-hearted and truly giving person. We were at our wits' end and he came to the rescue.

In addition, he is connecting us with some guys who can fix things in my brother's trailer including replacing a missing door and broken windows.

We are forever grateful for his fixing this vexing problem. He got the job done, was extremely nice and didn't charge us at all.

I had my toilet clogging constantly and couldn't clear it with a regular plunger and a toilet auger. Being a fairly good handy guy, I turned to the internet for more information for a fix. Found Portland Plumbing Plus company online and read many of their knowledgeable resources on plumbing problems and fixes. I ended up writing in my question because I could not still fix my toilet with a toilet auger and sewer water was starting to come into my house through the shower drain. It's unbelievable but true that a plumbing company would respond to my Do-It-Yourself question in such a timely manner as Portland Plumbing Plus did. The plumber who answered my question told me exactly what to do and where to go outside of my house to determine if the problem was from a backed up sewer line. His directions were accurate, almost like he was there at my house. I tried the test the plumber suggested which was in the following order- "go outside to your sewer clean-out and open the cap, then have someone flush your toilet while you observe the sewer clean-out. If water runs through, then sewer line is good, but if you see standing water then sewer line is backing up" So I had my wife flush toilet from a different bathroom and the drain outside had standing water. I knew then that my sewer line was backing up. After the problem was determined, this plumber didn't sell me any service, he only suggested I find a local plumber to fix the problem. I was like WOW!!! My dealing with this company made me feel like I was on a different planet, really, who goes out of their way to help strangers selflessly in this day and time? Well, I am in Portland, they are in Portland, why would I look for another local plumber. I had Portland Plumbing Plus come out the next day to fix the problem. My wife and I are highly impressed, we can't stop recommending them.  Please keep up the good work Portland Plumbing Plus
